Hello, Prineville. If you are being evacuated and need a place to park an RV temporarily, our vacant lot on the corner of Deer Street and Second Street (behind our building, next door to McDonald’s) is available. We hesitated to offer this up before now, because there is no water or electricity on the lot, but if you need a place to land temporarily, you are welcome. We only ask that you please do not block the access out onto Second Street. Thank you.

I still remember the first day Paysen Green walked through my door. He wasn't very old, but he strutted in wearing camo shorts and cowboy boots like he owned the place.

One of the greatest privileges of being a chiropractor isn't just helping people feel better—it's watching kids grow up.

Fast forward a few years, and that little boy has become one handsome and strapin' young man.

Paysen, it's been an honor to watch you grow, cheer you on, and help keep you healthy along the way. Thank you and your family for trusting me with your care all these years.

Moments like these remind me of how blessed I am to do what I do—it's about relationships that last a lifetime.

(Parents... blink once, and somehow your little cowboy is all grown up. ❤️)

This graphic is a bit out of date, because historically the literature cited that magnesium was involved in roughly 300 to 350 enzymatic processes. However, it's now known that magnesium acts as a cofactor for over 600+ enzymatic reactions and acts as an activator for another 200. Another fact is that all the companies pushing Magnesium L-Threonate for brain and Magnesium Taurate for heart etc. are based on animal models not actual human data. I fine magnesium bisglycinate works best for most people and is great for sleep and we'll occasionally use magnesium citrate for those who are constipated because it absorbs lower in the GI and helps more with constipation. But you do not need to get fancy with magnesium, just a good quality chelated form in adequate doses is all that is necessary.

I couldn't be more honored or blessed. I get to show up and serve patients like Holly Jo everyday.

Banks Neville Severance was born on March 8th, 2026. He had a pretty traumatic entry into this world. During birth vacuum extraction was used and the doctors fractured his right clavicle and humerus.

Momma, Lacey who has been a patient of mine since she was little brought him in and after a couple gentle adjustments to his neck, thoracic and lumbar spine he relaxed, could move his head better, he pooped and was going to sleep. Keep reading for full back story.

Mom was in labor for 14 hours and had eclampsia and her blood pressure was 200/100. After three different IV blood pressure medications did not bringing her blood pressure down, they started on IV magnesium. Mom got so much magnesium that her arms and legs went numb and were paralyzed. The baby's heart rate was dropping with every contraction, so vacuum extraction was done. The doctors really had to reef on his head and neck and ended up fracturing his right clavicle and right humorous. He also had a large hematoma on his skull. He was in the NIC unit for 9 days and was on a CPAP for a few days. He did not cry nor was he very responsive for a couple days. Both he and mom were on IV antibiotics for a few days and he would not eat for a few days. A week after she brought him home from the NIC unit, she took him back for a circumcision, but by the time she got home his diaper was completely full of blood. So she drove him straight back and they had to deal with that. He is now 6 weeks old and is doing pretty well his fractures are healing. However, mom felt he was in pain because he was very stiff and he had not pooped in 3 days. He didn’t want to turn his head to the right. He was crying and reacted when touched on certain places on his neck, back and abdomen.

However, after a couple gentle adjustments he relaxed, could move his head better and went to sleep. She brought him in a couple days later and said he had slept through the last couple of nights and was markedly better. She said “I wish I would have brought him in sooner.” I adjusted him again and he is doing great and I reassured Lacey she is a fantastic mom and he is one lucky little guy to have her as his momma.

Steve Gibson went from debilitating pain and vertigo so bad doctor’s though he may have had a stroke… to 50+ pounds down and back in the rodeo arena roping!

Steve is one of my Functional Medicine Hero's. He has lost over 50lbs and just did his first rodeo last weekend (after several years away) and finished in the money.

He had chronic low back pain and sciatica which was often debilitating for years. He had migrating joint pain all over, his memory which had always been quite good was slipping, and he had recently gone to the ER due to an acute sudden episode of vertigo that was so bad it dropped him, he could walk and they thought he had a stroke.

Well after a few months of chiropractic, traction and functional neurology and Erchonia Green laser treatment he was doing better. However, it wasn’t until I had built enough trust that he came in as a Functional Medicine patient.

That’s when we discovered several things which really turned things around. He had an autoimmune condition, several nutritional deficiencies and Leaky Gut from chronic antibiotic use and acid blocking medication.

Once we put those pieces of the puzzle together and started to address the nutrient deficiencies, Leaky Gut and autoimmunity - he really started feeling better.

He dropped the 50+ pounds on the AIP diet and antimicrobial supplements. We resolved all his dizziness and vertigo, and his chronic low back pain has been controlled to the point he was ready to start roping again! Way to Go Steve – You are a Functional Medicine Hero!!

There is much more to his story which I plan to write up on our website www.Center4FunctionalMedicine.com but I had to share his success right away.

Our gut microbiome keeps showing up as one of the biggest catalyst in our health, mood, brain function and immune function. It's been a privilege and a blessing to have seen this trend starting over 20 years ago and to have helped countless patients reclaim their health with simple diet and lifestyle interventions.
