An Evening of Italian Favorites — For a Great Cause!
Val and her incredible culinary team put on an amazing Italian-themed dinner for our residents and families, bringing everyone together around the table for a true family-style experience.
The evening featured homemade favorites, including spaghetti and meatballs and Italian Sausage, a garden salad, and homemade biscotti and traditional spumoni, all prepared with love and served family style.

To finish the evening, guests enjoyed a vintage glass Chianti and refreshing Limoncello Spritz, perfectly paired with Val’s biscotti. 🍋🍷
What made the evening even more special was that it was all done in support of raising money for the Rhode Island Alzheimer’s Association. Our residents, families, and team came together to enjoy great food, celebrate our community, our “Neighborhood”, and support an important cause that touches so many lives.
A heartfelt Grazie to Val and the entire culinary team for an unforgettable evening—and to everyone who participated and helped make a difference!!

During this election time, Brett Smiley asked to come speak to the residents of East Side to encourage their voices to be heard and educated them on the developments and updates in the city of Providence. Residents had a lot of good questions that were answered very insightfully.

Come visit us at Wingate on the East Side and check out our beautiful raffle baskets! We are continuing our efforts to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Association of Providence with a goal of 5K. We have a variety of different baskets some examples include scratch tickets, Fearless Fish market gift card, W**e baskets, Italian baskets, Foster Country Club gift card and much much more! The raffle tickets are $5 for 1, $15 for 5 and $20 for 15! We will pick the winners on Friday August 28th at 3:30! Come on down!!

Our residents had a wonderful time at Picnic in the Park! 🌳☀️

We enjoyed a beautiful day at India Point Park with bocce, co****le, and a delicious lunch by Chef Val. We were also honored by a visit from Congressman John Goncalves. We can’t wait for our next Picnic in the Park!

We were so excited to congratulate our very own Glamour Gal, Sienna Tandon, for winning 2026 Miss Rhode Island Teen USA! She not only is beautiful on the outside but more importantly on the inside as well. She’s part of a volunteer organization known as GlamourGals out of Wheeler School where she, along with her other Gals, visit our resident’s and create meaningful relationships while fostering intergenerational connections.
