Did you know that Registered Dietitians are the ONLY healthcare professional that has ANY required nutrition education? Yep - even doctors.⁠

And, dietitians have QUITE a bit of education and training. It is SO much more than just passing an exam.⁠
⁠
Important note as you seek out accurate information from dietitians. The word "nutritionist" ISN'T regulated and anyone can call themselves a nutritionist - without ANY certification or education.⁠

However, the word "dietitian" means that person has completed extensive education requirements, passed a credentialing exam AND maintains continuing education credits.⁠

Incorrect and harmful nutrition info is RAMPANT out there (ESPECIALLY on social media!). Please be careful who you take nutrition information from. Look into the person behind the advice!⁠
