This week we invite you to meet Michelle Zawatski, Director of Social Services, an integral part of our incredible team!

With 2 years on our team and 24 years of experience as a social worker, Michelle showcases our core values throughout everything she does for our residents.

Since beginning her career in 2002, she has worked in mental health, substance abuse, hospital social work, and long-term care, where she discovered her passion for serving older adults.

Michelle loves working with residents and advocating for their needs. She shares, "Trying to help others and improve their quality of life and well-being on a daily basis has been rewarding for me." Her compassion, dedication, and commitment to resident-centered care continue to make a meaningful impact every day.

Her healthcare journey began in 2009 as a CNA, where her dedication and commitment to compassionate care led her to become a Medication Technician before achieving her goal of becoming a nurse.

Today is , a day to recognize the strength, resilience, and determination of the millions of individuals living with chronic disease.

The date 7/10 serves as a powerful reminder that 7 out of 10 deaths in the U.S. are caused by chronic diseases, including heart disease, cancer, and diabetes. Raising awareness is an important step toward prevention, early intervention, and better health outcomes.

At our center, we are committed to supporting individuals living with chronic illnesses through personalized, compassionate care that empowers them every step of the way.

Today, we're also asking our team and community to reflect on who inspires them to keep going.
