Today, the Compass Turns
Today's the day. The Lunar Nodes officially leave the Pisces/Virgo axis and settle into Aquarius and Leo, where they'll stay until March 2028.

I don't think it's a coincidence that this shift arrives on the heels of Barbault's Basket — the rare outer-planet alignment we just witnessed between July 18th and 21st, which astrologer André Barbault called the beginning of a “splendid relaunch of civilization.” The sky is rich right now; it's what astrologers wait decades to see.

The new nodal axis carries a clear message: how does your individuality serve something bigger than yourself? The South Node in Leo asks us to release the need for applause, performance, and personal glory as the only measure of a life well lived. The North Node in Aquarius asks us to invest that same fire into community, shared vision, and the collective good — without losing what makes us unmistakably ourselves.

This is soul-level work. It plays out over the next 18 months, not overnight. But today marks the beginning.

I've been thinking a lot about the people who challenge us.
The ones who push our buttons.
The ones who force us to learn healthier boundaries, new ways of communicating, or deeper compassion.
What if some of those people are soulmates too?
Not because they're easy.
Not because they're meant to stay forever.
But because they help us grow into who we're becoming.
One of the things I shared on this week's episode of Empowering You is that soulmates come in many forms. Sometimes they're with us for decades. Sometimes they cross our path for a single moment and leave us forever changed.
As the world feels more uncertain and fast-moving, I believe grounding ourselves, finding community, and understanding our own inner patterns has never been more important.

You never truly know what someone else is going through, and your kindness might be the very thing that reminds them not all is lost.

Every challenge you face is shaping you into someone stronger, wiser, and more capable than you realize. You may not see it now, but one day you’ll look back and understand why you had to be this strong. Keep going. You’re built for this.
