I spent a large portion of the day working with microfilm. The question is, did I really need to? Isn’t every digitized and indexed on FamilySearch anyways? Even though FamilySearch has made great progress in digitizing and indexing records, many records are still only available through microfilm!
The microfilm I was looking at was a Kirchenbuch from Bankwitz (Kr. Namslau), Schlesien, Germany. Essentially it was a Parish registers of baptisms, marriages and deaths for that area.
