🔺🔺IMPORTANT INFORMATION🔺🔺
We would like to further explain about machine recall from certain manufacturers. Many have expressed their concern and we are happy to help inform!
All CPAP and BiPap brands are in short stock due to one OR multiple things such as:
-Global pandemic
-Short staff
-Machine part shortage
-Recall
Many of you are concerned about the recall. We would like to clarify that NOT all CPAP and BiPap machine BRANDS are subject to recall. In June of 2021 Phillips Respironics announced their recall notice, physicians and care providers were the first to know. Anyone who owns a Phillips Respironics device and has not registered their device should do so. ALL other manufacturer brands are NOT related to this recall and are 🔺safe to use🔺
If you have concerns about your device we urge you to please contact and communicate with your physician! They will be able to further inform you and help replace your machine.

Snoring vs. Sleep Apnea

SNORING: According to Mayo Clinic, snoring is produced by the loosened tissues of your mouth and throat fluttering and vibrating as you inhale air. It can be exacerbated by a variety of reasons, including:
•Airway anatomy
•Overweight or Obese
•Allergies or chronic nasal congestion.
• Sleep position (sleeping on the back)

SLEEP APNEA: The big difference between OSA and snoring is that with OSA, the airway becomes blocked to such a degree that oxygen levels in the body decline, causing arousal or awakening from sleep. Indications that your snoring is sleep apnea are:
• someone notices pauses in your breath at night
•daytime fatigue/sleepiness
•waking up gasping or choking.

Is your snoring normal or is it sleep apnea? As always if you feel you could be suffering from sleep apnea consult your Family Physician.
