A heartfelt thank you to the Mayes County Medical Center Auxiliary and Disabled American Veterans Chapter 43 of Pryor for their donation of an Invacare Reliant 480 Body Lift. The timing could not have been better, as the hospital’s previous lift had recently stopped working. This much-needed equipment will play an important role in patient care and transportation, helping our team continue to provide safe, compassionate service to the community.

For women's health and pediatrics, our dynamic duo of doctors, Amanda Griffin, M.D., and Steve Griffin, M.D., are here to serve you and your family's medical needs.

Dr. Griffin loves caring for children and has always known she would work with them in some way. She said, “I have loved kids from a young age. I grew up playing ‘school’ with my siblings and neighbors. Once I decided to go into medicine instead of teaching, pediatrics was the natural fit.”

When it comes to building relationships with his patients, Dr. Griffin said he likes to spend time learning about their families. “I find their families are often as important as their other medical needs. Often, I end up taking care of multiple family members, so it also helps me feel like I’m part of their family in my own way,” he said.
