An update for our community: The situation with the Aspen Acres fire has hit incredibly close to home, and our family has now been officially evacuated. We are right there with you experiencing the intense stress, uncertainty, and exhaustion of this displacement.
Because we know firsthand exactly what our fellow evacuees are walking through right now, our staff wants to help ease that physical and mental tension in the small way we can.

It’s been a challenging 24 hours with the Aspen Acres fire. Living right here in Colorado City, we’ve watched neighbors and friends evacuate while ensuring our own home was secure. Seeing this community immediately come together to support one another has been incredible.

As a nurse, I know firsthand the physical and mental toll of responding to a crisis. First responders consistently push their bodies to the absolute limit, sacrificing their own well-being and time with family to keep us safe.
While float therapy can feel like a luxury, tools like sensory deprivation are vital during high-stress events. When adrenaline is high, sleep doesn't come easily and true rest feels impossible—but decompression is critical.
