September 11, 2001.

A day that changed our nation forever.

Today, we pause to remember the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the countless heroes who ran toward danger while others were running away.

We remember the firefighters, police officers, EMTs, military members, and everyday people who showed extraordinary courage in the face of unimaginable circumstances.

We remember the 2,977 lives lost on September 11—and the many more who have since suffered lasting physical and emotional consequences.

And we remember the spirit of a nation that, in the days that followed, came together to care for one another.

At Frontier Home Health, we are reminded that care is more than a profession. It is a choice we make every day—to show up, to serve, to help, and to stand beside others when they need us most.

May we never forget the lives that were lost.
May we always honor the heroes who served.
May we continue to choose kindness, compassion, courage, and unity.

Over the last few days, we’ve talked about something so many families quietly carry.

Advocacy Means More. 🤍

Members of the Frontier Home Health team attended the Annual Legislative BBQ hosted by Greater Pueblo Chamber of Commerce—an incredible opportunity to connect with community leaders and advocate for the patients and healthcare professionals we serve.

We are especially grateful for opportunities to have meaningful conversations with our legislators, including Rep. Jeff Hurd, who listen to the challenges facing healthcare providers and have the ability to turn that advocacy into meaningful change at the state and federal levels.

At Frontier, our biggest goal is simple: keep people healthy, safe, and thriving in their own homes. When we can do that, we not only improve quality of life for our patients—we also help reduce preventable acute care needs and take pressure off our community hospitals.

We believe healthcare doesn’t work without every avenue of care working together. Home health is an essential part of that continuum.

But with ongoing cuts and challenges surrounding Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement, it becomes increasingly difficult to invest in and compensate the incredible people who provide this care at the level they truly deserve.

That’s why we advocate.

Advocacy means more.

More for the future of healthcare in our communities.
