Goodness. Not the easiest day I’ve ever had. Mama needed some interventions for the safest birth, had to do some intense advocacy. But made good strides and mama had sweet baby and dad got to help doc catch. I’m pretty wiped but happy with the outcome. Welcome to the world sweet baby M 💕

Being judged against a broken system, with different, non-evidence based standards and liability control, is wrong. Choosing a Midwife is choosing ancient wisdom, combined with modern, safe interventions for common problems, and a level of care that exceeds what obstetrics are offering to low risk women. Obstetricians are surgical experts with skills for highly complicated issues. We love them for their role. However, most pregnancies do not require them.

Not making any promises but…

Clients (even past ones) if you want a birth announcement just message and let me know. I’ve always been hesitant to post because I don’t want to announce anything before the family has had the chance, or post pictures that people don’t want up. I don’t get a birth story or post up about every birth, not by far. But I have found some are sad they didn’t get a post. So please let me know. Even if it was long ago lol. I’ll do my best :)
Preferably send me the pics you want too.
