Due to the wildfire near Beulah and the resulting smoke impacting our region, public health officials are recommending that everyone stay indoors and avoid unnecessary outdoor activities today.
If you have asthma, COPD, heart disease, are pregnant, are older than 65, or have young children, please take extra precautions. Keep windows and doors closed, run your air conditioning or air purifier if available, and seek medical attention if you experience worsening shortness of breath, chest pain, or difficulty breathing.
Our hearts and prayers are with everyone affected by the Beulah fire, especially the firefighters, first responders, emergency personnel, and the families and residents in the affected areas. We pray for God’s protection over those on the front lines, for the safety of our community, and for the fire to be contained quickly.
Please continue to follow guidance from local officials, check on your loved ones and neighbors, and stay safe.
