What an incredible day representing Atlas Post Acute in the Colorado State Fair Parade! 🎉
We were so proud to be out in our community representing Atlas and sharing just a little bit of what makes our facility so special. Atlas is a great place, and we are so excited about everything it is continuing to become! We absolutely LOVE the Pueblo community and are grateful to be part of a city that shows up, supports one another, and has so much pride and tradition. Seeing all the smiling faces along the parade route made the day even more special! Thank you, Pueblo, for cheering us on! We are proud to represent Atlas Post Acute and even prouder to call Pueblo home!

On August 26, 2026, we had the honor of attending Sangre de Cristo Community Care’s Annual Silver Queen Finalist Luncheon at the beautiful Pueblo Country Club. This year’s Silver Queen competition began with 37 incredible contestants, and we could not have been more excited or proud to have our very own Ms. Mary from Atlas Post Acute named a finalist! Being selected as a finalist among so many remarkable women is an incredible honor. Watching Ms. Mary be recognized and celebrated was such a special and meaningful moment for her Atlas family. She represented Atlas with the same warmth, grace, personality, and beautiful spirit that make her so loved by our residents, staff, families, and visitors. Although Ms. Mary didn’t take home the official Silver Queen crown this year, she will ALWAYS be Atlas Post Acute’s Queen! A crown could never measure the joy she brings to our building, the smiles she puts on our faces, or the special place she holds in our hearts. A heartfelt thank you to Sangre de Cristo Community Care for continuing this beautiful tradition and for recognizing and celebrating the incredible women in our senior community. Events like this remind us that every life has a story worth celebrating and every generation deserves its moment to shine. Congratulations, Ms. Mary! We are so incredibly proud of you. You may not have won the crown, but you’ll forever be the Queen of Atlas! 👑✨💙

Today we’re celebrating a very special milestone. Our Administrator, Clark, has officially been with Atlas Post Acute for ONE YEAR! 💙👏
Over the past year, Clark has shown an incredible devotion to our residents, our staff, and the continued growth of Atlas. His commitment to making sure our residents receive the care, respect, and quality of life they deserve is evident in everything he does. Clark is always looking for ways to make Atlas the very best it can be. A place our residents are proud to call home and our staff are proud to be part of. His leadership, dedication, and genuine care for our Atlas family have made such a positive impact. Please join us in congratulating Clark on his 1-year Atlas anniversary! 🎊 Here’s to everything we’ve accomplished and all the great things still ahead!

🎉 Atlas Post Acute’s 1st Annual Employee Appreciation & Back-to-School Picnic! 🎒☀️
What an amazing evening at Pueblo City Park celebrating the incredible staff who make Atlas Post Acute such a special place! Our team and their families enjoyed an evening filled with great food, lots of fun, awesome prizes, back-to-school backpacks packed with school supplies, and of course… some rides! 🎢🎠 We are so grateful for our hardworking staff and loved having the opportunity to celebrate not only them, but their families too. Here’s to making this the first of many Atlas employee appreciation picnics! 🥳 And a HUGE congratulations to Toni, our Activity Assistant, who walked away with the GRAND PRIZE — a 75” TV! 📺🎉👏 Congratulations, Toni!! Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make our first annual picnic such a memorable evening!

A HUGE thank you to our amazing friends at Enhabit Home Health & Hospice for treating everyone to such a fun afternoon! 💙 From choosing our favorite sodas to adding all the yummy flavors and mix-ins, there was something for everyone to enjoy! Nothing beats good drinks, lots of smiles, and great company! 🥤💕 We are so grateful for community partners like Enhabit who continue to bring a little extra fun and sweetness to our Atlas family!

✨Meet the team at Atlas Post Acute!✨

At Atlas Post Acute each member of our team plays a key role in providing the best care and compassion for our residents.

Let us introduce to you our Director of Nursing, Sharonda Camacho Jones. Her heart and dedication to her residents and staff is remarkable. Sharonda is originally from Puerto Rico. She has been serving as a nurse since 2001 and working in long term care since 2005.

Working at Atlas Post Acute means so much to Sharonda because she enjoys the feeling of belonging to the Pueblo community. Everyday she has the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of the Atlas residents and show them that we love them like they are a member of our own family.
She is grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the Atlas team and work alongside such a great group of people.

Sharonda is the proud Mom to four amazing children and a blessed grandmother to two beautiful boys. Family means everything to her and they are what makes who her she is today. She was able to connect with her first love after 31 years of being apart and they tied the knot in Green Mountain Falls, CO.

Her favorite hobby is spending time with her family and making sure they are happy. She enjoys creating memories, being there for them, and celebrating little moments together.
