💜 National Health Center Week may be one week, but at ConnextCare, we celebrate all August long!
Throughout National Health Center Month, we’ve had so much to celebrate - our people, our community partnerships, our history, and the important role community health centers play in keeping our communities healthy and connected.
This August included some especially meaningful moments for ConnextCare:
🎉 Coming together with our community for 𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗗𝗮𝘆, where more than 40 vendors and community organizations joined us to share information, resources, and services with local families. We are incredibly grateful to every vendor, community partner, staff member, and volunteer who helped make our first CARE Day such a success.
👏 During CARE Day, we were also proud to recognize 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗹𝘆𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘆 for his continued support of ConnextCare and the communities we serve. We appreciate his ongoing partnership and advocacy for community health centers and the important role they play in ensuring access to care across our region.
🏆 Celebrating 𝗡𝗮𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗗𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗩𝗣/𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗲𝗳 𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿 and the well-deserved recognition she received with the CHCANYS Catherine Abate Memorial Award - honoring her dedication, leadership, and lasting impact on community health.
📜 Receiving special recognition of National Health Center Week through proclamations from 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗼𝗿 𝗞𝗮𝘁𝗵𝘆 𝗛𝗼𝗰𝗵𝘂𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗝𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗿𝗲𝘆 𝗙𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗿, the Mayor of Pulaski - an acknowledgment of the impact community health centers have across New York State and right here at home.
And, most importantly, celebrating the people behind our mission every day - our employees, providers, volunteers, partners, patients, and the communities we are proud to serve.
To every vendor and community organization who joined us for CARE Day: thank you. Your participation helped make the event welcoming, informative, and fun for our community.

As August continues, we’re proud to celebrate where community health centers have been, how far we’ve come, and the work that continues every day.
For us, it’s more than a week. It’s a month to celebrate the people, partnerships, and communities that make our mission possible.
