It is with incredibly heavy hearts that we share the passing of a beloved member of our Building Blocks family, Donna Reisinger. Shortly after her time at BBCCC, she moved to Alaska, where she continued to spread joy to others.

Donna brought kindness, compassion, and so much light to everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She made a lasting impact on the children, families, and coworkers whose lives she touched, and she will be deeply missed.

Our hearts are also with Donna's family during this unimaginable time. We ask that you keep her husband, son, along with all of Donna's loved ones, in your thoughts and prayers.

Please join us in celebrating Donna's life by sharing a favorite memory, a kind word, or simply keeping her family close in your hearts. We know the love and support of this community will mean so much in the days ahead.

Earlier in July, our children proudly celebrated Independence Day with our friends at Bishop Place. Watching generations come together reminds us that some of childhood's greatest lessons aren't learned in a classroom. They're learned through kindness, connection, and community.

🍋 Goal accomplished! 🍋

Our School-Age campers set a goal to raise $250 for a field trip to Terracotta in Pullman...and they did it!

From making three flavors of freshly squeezed lemonade to serving customers and counting donations, they learned that teamwork, communication, perseverance, and hard work really do pay off.

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by and supported our young entrepreneurs. You helped turn a learning experience into an unforgettable adventure! 💙

At BBCCC, we're growing more than minds...we're growing relationships. 💙

When children build meaningful connections with family and older adults, they're developing empathy, communication skills, emotional regulation, and a stronger sense of belonging. These relationships help shape confident, compassionate learners.

We're grateful for our partnership with Bishop Place and can't wait to make more memories together. We are also excited for our annual Teddy Bear Picnic with families! 🧸☀️
