Today is Pet Obesity Awareness Day. We get that food is a way of showing love, but fattening up Miss Molly, or any other pet, is hazardous to her health, and your back!

When rescuing an animal with extreme weight issues (too fat or too skinny), it is crucial to come up with a plan with your veterinarian to get the pet to his or her ideal weight. A sudden change in diet can prove too much for their bodies to handle.
