An absolute amazing Support Group tonight here in Federal Way. Full house, full gambit of patients (from those just a few weeks in, to those on maintenance and everyone in between).

We love to hear your stories, your non-scale victories, those things you can do now that you couldn't just a few months before. Several "I can play with my grandkids without being out of breath" stories.

🚨🚨WARNING🚨PSA! 🚨🚨

Something I just researched!

Maltodextrin: Is a carbohydrate found in processed foods, powdered drinks, instant foods and more.

It’s A complex carbohydrate that increases blood insulin so much faster than fructose and glucose. This chemical is very bad for diabetics, and very bad for anyone who is trying to lose weight or keep the weight down.

So I highly recommend if you are diabetic, pre-diabetic, or trying to lose weight that you carefully stay away from foods with this additive.

Athletes use it because it breaks down quickly and gives them the boosted energy/ fuel they need!

Anywho, just thought I’d share!
