Had a hospital stay in a larger city? You don't have to stay there for the recovery part.

HCMH's Swing Bed program lets patients transition from acute care to recovery care — right here in Quanah. That means you can be closer to family, in a familiar setting, while still receiving skilled nursing, physical therapy, and daily medical oversight.

Ask your provider about transferring to HCMH for recovery.

Memorize this — BE FAST:

Today we pause to honor the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

Many of them came from small towns just like ours. Many of them are remembered on the walls of family homes and community halls across Hardeman County.

From all of us at Hardeman County Memorial Hospital — thank you, and we remember.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and in rural Texas, this is a conversation worth having out loud.

Anxiety, depression, grief, burnout — they show up in small towns just like they show up anywhere else. The difference is we don't always have the same easy access to support.

Here's the reminder: you don't have to hit rock bottom to ask for help. Talking to your primary care provider is a great first step — and it's a conversation we have every day at HCMH.

If you or someone you love is struggling, start by calling your provider at Hardeman County Clinic at (940) 663-6651 or Foard Clinic at (940) 684-1515. Be sure to ask your Provider if you would benefit from the Trinity program

When seconds matter, someone has to move first. In Hardeman County and Foard County, that someone is often our EMS crew.

This week is National EMS Week (May 18–24) — a time to recognize the paramedics, EMTs, and first responders who race toward emergencies the rest of us are trying to get away from.

HCMH works hand-in-hand with local EMS every day. When they roll into our ER bay with a patient, we're ready. Thank you to every first responder in our area — you are lifelines in every sense of the word.

Know a first responder? Tag them in the comments and say thank you.
