I need to say this gently, but it might sting a little...

I need to tell you a story about a woman who sat in the third row of her church on a Sunday morning.

The worship band was playing her favorite song. The people around her had their hands raised. The lights were soft. It was a beautiful moment.

But as she stood there, she realized something terrifying: She felt absolutely nothing. No peace. No joy. No presence. Just a hollow, heavy numbness in her chest.

Immediately, the guilt flooded in.
"What is wrong with me? Am I backsliding? Have I lost my faith? God, why can't I feel you anymore?"

She went home that day, smiled at her family, cooked lunch, and secretly cried in the bathroom because she thought her heart had turned to stone.

If you have ever felt that exact same numbness... I need you to listen. You are not losing your faith. You are not backsliding.

You are experiencing something called Spiritual Burnout.
