Models will get hair and make up at Luxterra Salon & Spa , and we’ll be sure to have trained Crisis Center volunteers there to pamper and empower the ladies as they walk out.

We are turning “secondhand” into stunning. These are real survivors reclaiming their story, their strength and their 2nd chance at life.

Today marks the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks. We pause to remember the innocent lives lost on September 11, 2001. We honor the bravery of the first responders who risked their lives, those who lost their lives, and the strength of a nation that came together in tragedy.

I spent last week at ART training along with Tish Hodges from Optimal Change, PLLC. ART is Accelerated Resolution Therapy, with some similarities to but distinct differences from EMDR. We saw some pretty amazing and quick healing and transformations happen with this therapy. I look forward to incorporating ART into my practice!

It is authored by a LOCAL therapist couple, Sara and Max Semenick of Deeper Roots Counseling! I look forward to using the concepts in therapy.
