Did you know there are so many ways to get involved with Blessing Volunteer Services right from the comfort of your own home?

From sewing surgery caps and creating ER bears to making fiddler mats and so much more, these simple acts of kindness bring comfort, encouragement and a little extra joy to patients and families throughout our community.

And the best part? You don’t need a special skill set (no you don’t have to know how to sew to be apart of some of these;)) or previous experience to make an impact. There’s a place for everyone, and every helping hand matters.

You don’t have to be inside the hospital to be part of something that makes a difference.

We’re honored to introduce No One Dies Alone (NODA), a new volunteer initiative rooted in one simple but powerful belief: no one should have to face the end of life alone.

Through this program, trained volunteers offer a comforting presence to patients nearing the end of life who may not have family or friends at their bedside. Whether it’s holding a hand, reading a favorite book, playing gentle music, or offering prayer when welcomed, these volunteers provide something deeply meaningful: the reassurance that someone is there.

Because sometimes, the greatest gift we can give is simply showing up.
