We're big believers in the importance of community here, which is why when Steve was invited to play guitar at North River Church, he was eager to help.

A community relies on every member's involvement, but when it's difficult to hear, it's hard to feel part of something bigger. As a meaningful step toward including every member of the community, Tobias Hearing Center recently donated an Auracast™ system to the church, so that those with Auracast-enabled devices can more easily stream audio and feel part of the service.

🎆 Fireworks are fun.
Permanent hearing damage? Not so much.

A single fireworks blast can reach up to 160 decibels, loud enough to harm big and little ears in seconds. Children’s ears are still developing, so those booming finales can sound even louder to them. 👂💥

Before you head out to celebrate, make sure both your and your kids’ hearing is protected with proper hearing protection (earmuffs, earplugs, etc.). Keep at a safe distance, and make a game plan for quieter breaks.
