Hancock Park Rehabilitation & Nursing Center • in Quincy offers Assisted Living, short-term Skilled Nursing Care and long-term Skilled Nursing Care. Hancock Park has a dedicated Subacute Unit, specializing in cases that are medically complex or rehabilitation-intensive. The center takes pride in providing care that is truly state-of-the art and compassionate. Conveniently located near the heart of

downtown Quincy, Hancock Park has served as the city’s premier nursing center since 1996. The center offers restaurant-style dining, a gift shop, entertainment and recreational activities, a beautifully maintained outdoor courtyard and free parking. Each Skilled Nursing resident has access to cable TV and private telephone service. Residents enjoy meals in our elegant dining rooms or in their own room, depending upon individual preference. Some residents elect to have breakfast in one of our intimate dining areas closer to their room. Hancock Park is Medicaid/Medicare Certified. The staff is committed to providing high quality medical, nursing and rehabilitative care to allow every resident to experience the best quality of life while maintaining or regaining function, health and well-being.

Our residents were so happy to learn that every Bingo game prize was a $3.00 gift certificate to Hancock Parks Mini Mart. There were lots of smiles, excitement, and lucky winners throughout the weekend.

America's 250th Birthday Celebration Week
Our week celebrating America's 250th Birthday was nothing short of patriotic!
We kicked off the festivities with a wonderful performance by John Driscoll and Friends, who brought great music and spirit to our celebration. Bill Burke also joined us and presented his annual 4th of July Program, making this his fourth year sharing his patriotic traditions with us.
A special thank you goes to Andre, our Food Director, who braved the nearly 100-degree weather to grill a delicious BBQ for everyone to enjoy. The residents absolutely loved the food and appreciated all of his hard work.
Another big hit was our new Ice Cream Cart, which offered a variety of novelty ice cream treats. Residents enjoyed having so many delicious choices and loved this fun addition to our celebration week.
We concluded our Independence Day celebration with a sweet All-American treat: apple pie topped with vanilla ice cream, along with cherry pie, said to be George Washington's favorite pie. It was the perfect ending to a week filled with patriotism, fun, great food, and wonderful memories.
