During the first week of August, SIU Quincy kicked off National Health Center Week by celebrating the people and partnerships that help make our communities healthier.
That spirit was on full display at the Back to School HELP Fair in Quincy, where SIU Medicine residents joined other community volunteers to provide health care services to local students and families. The event offered physicals, immunizations and dental care, along with school supplies, clothing and other resources to help children start the school year ready to learn.
For SIU Medicine, caring for our communities means meeting people where they are and working together to support their health and well-being.
We’re proud to be part of a community that comes together to serve local families. And we’re grateful to everyone who helped make this event possible.
