The journey to food freedom and the spiritual path are more alike than most people realize.
Both begin with awareness — noticing what you reach for, and why.
Both move through resistance — the places where old patterns grip tightest.
Both invite you into surrender — releasing the need to control every outcome.
And both arrive, eventually, at neutrality.
Not indifference. Not apathy.
Neutrality — the quiet, steady place where food is just food. Where a meal doesn’t carry shame or salvation. Where your spirit doesn’t rise and fall with what’s on your plate.
In my own healing journey, I watched my relationship with eating mirror my relationship with God, with myself, with life. When I learned to observe without judging — my choices, my body, my cravings — something shifted. The war ended.
That’s the invitation I hold for you.
Whether you’re healing your gut or healing your heart — the path looks remarkably the same. 🌿
