👶Your newborn always looks one direction? Don’t just brush it off as a cute quirk.
A baby may naturally develop a head preference-but consistently turning the head to one side can sometimes be a sign that they’re experiencing tension, limited mobility, or difficulty comfortably moving through their full range of motion.
From a pediatric chiropractic perspective, early assessment can help identify areas of restriction and support comfortable, balanced movement during those important early months.
Watch for signs like:
•Always looking toward the same side
•Difficulty turning the head the other direction
•A preference for feeding on one side
•Head flattening or unevenness
•Fussiness when repositioned
You know your baby best. If something feels “off,” it’s worth having them evaluated by an appropriately trained pediatric healthcare professional.
Early attention doesn’t mean something is wrong-it means you’re paying attention.
