Nurse educator burnout is a growing concern that affects the future of the nursing workforce. π©βπ« Approximately 85% of nursing faculty experience moderate to high levels of burnout, driven by heavy teaching loads, research expectations, committee responsibilities, faculty shortages and the challenge of balancing work and personal life.
In a recent American Nurse Journal article, Laurie Dellosso, assistant professor of nursing at Radford University, examines this pressing issue and highlights evidence-based strategies to help reduce burnout.
