At the end of July, we headed to the Pulaski River Turtles baseball game for a beautiful summer night of competition. ⚾ 🧢

It was especially fun that it was “Waggin’ Wednesday,” which meant lots of cute pups! Go River Turtles!

To keep our 2026 Step Challenge going, we took a walk at Wildwood Park! 🌳👟

It was a great way to enjoy the sunshine while also making progress on our goal.

A few of our Assisted Living residents got crafty and creative with Resident Program Assistant, Danielle, decorating compact mirrors with flowers, gemstones, and buttons. 🪞🧵

Our third annual Commonwealth Carnival was one of our favorite summer highlights! 🎡 ✨

Residents, families, associates, and our Professional Partners came together for an afternoon filled with delicious fair favorites, including snow cones, popcorn, fresh squeezed lemonade, and more.

Guests of all ages enjoyed carnival games, caricatured by Jed Mickle, balloon art, face painting, temporary tattoos, and live music by Amy Andrews.

One of the biggest crowd pleasers? Watching a few of our fearless community leaders take a turn int he dunk tank!🤣

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this event such a success, We loved spending the afternoon making memories together! 👏 🎪

Back in July, the vocal ensemble Vox Harmonia from the Blacksburg Master Chorale gave a wonderful performance celebrating our country’s 250th anniversary of independence! 🎶

They highlighted works by American composers for an enjoyable afternoon of beautiful music and our Signature Program.

Afterwards, we heard stories from several residents about the choirs and a ca****la groups they’ve participated in throughout the years. 🤩

Thank you to all the musicians from Vox Harmonia for preparing this beautiful program and coming to share it with us!
