Pediatric Developmental Therapy Pediatric Developmental Therapy (PDT) provides speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy and evaluations.

Evaluations and treatments are modified based on the individual needs of the child. Pediatric Developmental Therapy (PDT) was founded with a mission focused on providing quality speech therapy, occupational therapy and physical therapy to children. As part of our mission, the therapists work to give parents the tools and strategies they need to help their children develop and carry over therapy pr

inciples to the home. Each child is treated as an individual and the therapy is designed to best meet each child’s needs. PDT therapists are educated in a variety of areas and specialties so we are uniquely positioned to make sure children are given the therapy they need to reach their full potential. Pediatric Developmental Therapy (PDT) also provides Teletherapy which is simply therapy over the internet, through a live video connection. The treatment is similar to what a child receives in person; it’s just done using a computer. If you’ve ever used FaceTime, Skype or Zoom, you’ve used the same type of technology that Teletherapy uses. Teletherapy can be used with a variety of ages. Teletherapy is endorsed by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) and the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). Parents can log on to the Teletherapy session from their home on their computer or mobile device, and then can be with their child while a PDT therapist conducts therapy with the child. Materials needed for the session will be shared on-screen or sent by email before the session.

May 13th was all about celebrating our amazing Speech-Language Pathologists at PDT! Our SLPs bring so much care, patience, and positivity to the children and families they work with each day, and we are so appreciative of everything they do. Shoutout to Heather, Deanna, Amber, and Niara, Emily, Anna, Mary, Olivia, Elizabeth and Jordan! 🎊

We spent the day recognizing our therapists with nacho snacks, encouraging words from coworkers, and heartfelt notes from patients. It was a fun way to show our gratitude for the difference our SLP team makes every day at PDT! 🤩

On April 15th, PDT celebrated our amazing Occupational Therapists across all of our clinics for OT Month! Shoutout to Erin, Lexi, Stephanie, Illyana, Madison, Jessica, and Stacey or all they do for our patients and families.😊

We enjoyed a fun day filled with sweet treats and funky decorations to show our appreciation for our awesome OTs. Their dedication, compassion, and hard work make such a difference in the lives of the children and families we serve every day. We are so thankful to have such an incredible team at PDT!🎉
