¿Estás esperando un bebé y tu idioma principal es el español? ¿Quieres saber más sobre el parto y la experiencia de convertirte en madre o padre? ¡Entonces, únete a nuestras clases de educación para el parto! 🍼

Estas clases están abiertas a futuros padres y madres; aceptamos Medicaid, así como otros seguros médicos. Si no cuentas con seguro, existe una cuota de inscripción de $35. 💰

This month’s WIC-approved food is Nut Butter! 🥜 Nut butters are filled with nutritious fats and are high in protein, making them a great and tasty staple for snacks and meals!

Try creating a fun snack with your choice of nut butter. Make a plate of your family’s favorite fruits alongside a scoop of nut butter as a dip, or add a drizzle of nut butter to yogurt or smoothies for some extra flavor! 🍎🥣

The Lung Bus is coming back to Hoke County! 🩵🚐

Join us Friday, November 13th, from 9 a.m.–2 p.m. in the Hoke County Health Department parking lot for FREE lung screenings, provided by The Foundation of FirstHealth.

Criteria:
🫁 MUST BE BETWEEN 50 & 80 YEARS OF AGE
🫁 MUST BE A CURRENT SMOKER OR HAVE QUIT SMOKING IN THE PAST 15 YEARS
🫁 HAVE A 20 PACK A YEAR SMOKING HISTORY
🫁 HAVE NO OTHER HEALTH PROBLEMS THAT LIMIT LIFE EXPECTANCY OR THE ABILITY TO HAVE SURGERY IF CANCER IS FOUND

Appointments are preferred, but walk-ups are welcome—look for the teal bus!
