While many people associate allergies with spring, dogs and cats can experience environmental allergies well into the fall.

Common signs include:

Persistent itching isn't just uncomfortable. It can lead to secondary skin and ear infections.

📚 **Continuing Education Update**

Dr. Grimsley will be out of the office for continuing education beginning **Tuesday, October 6 after 1:30 PM through Friday, October 9**. She will return to the office on **Monday, October 12**.

**No doctor appointments will be available during this time.** Our team will still be available to answer questions, assist with scheduling, and process prescription refill requests.

Please note that **prescription refill requests or medical questions that require doctor review may take additional time** while the doctor is out of the office. We encourage you to request any needed medications in advance whenever possible.

📢 Temporary Schedule Update: August 9–16

Dear All American Veterinary Hospital Family,

As a small, independently owned practice, we occasionally need to adjust our schedule so our veterinary team can take a well-deserved break and return refreshed to continue providing the personalized care your pets deserve.

Our schedule for the week of August 9–16 will be as follows:

• Monday, August 10: We will have a relief veterinarian available and will be seeing scheduled appointments.

• Tuesday, August 11 – Friday, August 14: Our medical team will not be seeing appointments or performing surgeries.

Our hospital will remain OPEN during normal business hours for limited services. Our team will be available to:

Answer phone calls
Schedule appointments for the following week
Refill approved prescription medications
Assist with food and prescription pickups
Answer general questions whenever possible

If your pet experiences an illness or emergency requiring veterinary care between Tuesday and Friday, we recommend contacting your nearest emergency or urgent care veterinary hospital.

We will resume our normal appointment schedule on Monday, August 17, and look forward to seeing everyone then!
