Agape Nation Agape Nation is currently in the fundraising stage. We hope to open our doors in mid-2024.

Newly formed nonprofit established to provide daily supervised educational, recreational, therapeutics, and community day services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Agape Nation is a not-for-profit corporation in Etowah County, Alabama that will provide daily supervised educational, recreational, and community day care services to adults with intellectual and developmenta

l disabilities (ID/DD) in an effort to promote continued learning, independence, self-worth, and community involvement. Our goal is to provide a school-like environment where adults with (ID/DD) are valued for who they are and provides them with opportunities to achieve personal fulfillment as well as empower them to discover, experience, and realize their full potential as members of the greater community. We believe that adults with developmental disabilities are capable of continued learning. We will provide age and level appropriate education, recreation, therapeutics, community involvement geared towards maintaining and growing skills, increasing independence, and promoting self-worth.

2 weeks until we get to be together again! We look forward to seeing everyone! Contact me if you have questions or would like to volunteer with us. Please share with those you know who have an adult with special needs in their care. We still meet families who've never heard of us even after 3 years.

Group homes should contact me by the friday before the event so that we can make sure we have enough food for everyone.
