😮 RMC’s Daily Dose of Health — Day 6

How much sleep did you get last night?

Sleep isn’t just downtime—it’s an important part of taking care of your overall health. Getting enough quality sleep can help support your mood, focus, immune system, heart health, and energy throughout the day.

đŸ’€ Today’s challenge: Make sleep a priority tonight.

A few simple things may help:

đŸ“± Put away your phone and other screens before bedtime
⏰ Try to go to bed and wake up around the same time each day
🌙 Keep your bedroom cool, quiet, and dark
📖 Create a relaxing bedtime routine that tells your body it’s time to wind down

Most adults should aim for at least 7 hours of sleep each night, although individual needs can vary.

And if you regularly struggle to fall asleep, stay asleep, or still feel exhausted after a full night’s rest, talk with your healthcare provider.

Taking care of yourself doesn’t stop when the day ends. 💚

đŸ„ŠđŸ“ RMC’s Daily Dose of Health — Day 5

Today’s challenge: Add a little more color to your plate!

Fruits and vegetables provide vitamins, minerals, fiber, and other nutrients your body needs. And eating healthier doesn’t have to mean completely changing everything you eat.

đŸ„• Add a vegetable to dinner
🍓 Grab some fruit for a snack
đŸ„— Add a side salad to your lunch
🍌 Toss a banana or berries into breakfast

A good goal is to fill about half your plate with fruits and vegetables when you can.

And remember—fresh isn’t the only option. Frozen and canned fruits and vegetables can be great choices too, especially when fresh produce isn’t available or doesn’t fit the budget. Look for options without added sugars and with less sodium when possible.

Small changes really do add up. 💚

👟 RMC’s Daily Dose of Health — Day 4

You don’t have to spend hours at the gym to do something good for your health. Sometimes, it starts with just 10 minutes.

Taking a short walk can help get your body moving, boost your mood and energy, support your heart health, and give you a break from the stress of the day.

đŸš¶ Today’s challenge: Take a 10-minute walk!

Walk around the neighborhood, take a lap around your workplace, head outside after dinner, or even walk around the house. If 10 minutes is more than you can comfortably do, start with what works for you.

The goal isn’t perfection—it’s simply to move a little more than you did yesterday.

Small changes add up, and every step is a step toward better health. 💚

đŸ©ș RMC’s Daily Dose of Health — Day 3

When was your last checkup?

It’s easy to put off going to the doctor when you’re feeling good—but preventive care is an important part of staying healthy.

Regular checkups give you and your healthcare provider a chance to:

❀ Check important numbers like blood pressure and cholesterol
đŸ©ș Review medications and health concerns
📋 Make sure you’re up to date on recommended screenings
💉 Review vaccines you may need
🔎 Identify potential problems before they become bigger ones

Today’s challenge: Think about the last time you had a routine checkup. If it’s been a while, make today the day you get it scheduled!

Taking care of your health isn’t only about what happens when you’re sick. Prevention matters, too. 💚

💧 RMC’s Daily Dose of Health — Day 2

Today’s reminder is simple: Drink more water!

Staying hydrated helps your body do what it’s supposed to do. Even mild dehydration can leave you feeling tired, sluggish, or with a headache.

💧 Today’s challenge: Keep a water bottle with you and make an effort to sip throughout the day. If plain water isn’t your favorite, try adding lemon, lime, cucumber, or fresh fruit for a little flavor.

And with these hot summer days, staying hydrated is even more important—especially if you’re spending time outside.

Small changes can make a difference when it comes to taking care of your health. 💚

❀ RMC’s Daily Dose of Health — Day 1

Do you know your numbers?

High blood pressure is often called a “silent” condition because you can have it without feeling any different. Knowing your blood pressure is one simple step you can take to stay on top of your health.

đŸ©ș Today’s challenge: If you haven’t had your blood pressure checked recently, make it a priority!

And remember—regular checkups aren’t just for when you’re sick. Preventive care can help identify concerns early and keep you healthier for the long run.
