This week, our center proudly celebrates National Nursing Assistants Week and the incredible individuals who embody this year's theme: "We're Unbelievable."

Every day, our Nursing Assistants go above and beyond to provide compassionate care, comfort, and dignity to those we serve. They are the first to lend a helping hand, offer a reassuring smile, and make meaningful connections with our residents and patients.

Their dedication, resilience, and unwavering commitment to excellence make an extraordinary difference in the lives of countless individuals and families. Simply put, the impact they make is unbelievable.

As outdoor temperatures continue to rise, our team remains focused on preventing hyperthermia and protecting the health and well-being of our residents.

Hyperthermia occurs when the body becomes overheated and can be especially dangerous for older adults. To help keep residents safe, we encourage hydration, provide access to sunscreen and sun protection, monitor time spent outdoors, and ensure fresh water is readily available in outdoor areas. Our staff also closely monitor residents enjoying outdoor activities and take additional precautions for those who may be more sensitive to heat due to certain medications or health conditions.

By staying proactive and prepared, we can help residents safely enjoy the sunshine while reducing the risk of heat-related illnesses.

Remember: Stay hydrated, seek shade when needed, and be mindful of the signs of overheating. Together, we can make this a safe and enjoyable summer season!

Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Their courage, service, and dedication will never be forgotten.

This Memorial Day, we extend our deepest gratitude to all who have served and especially to those who gave their lives protecting the freedoms we cherish every day.

Happy Memorable Moment Monday!

We started our week of with a Mother’s Day Social. Gardening with the ladies, and a tropical day in the sun with refreshing drinks and fruits! We ended it with keepsake boxes and a spade tournament.

National Skilled Nursing Care Week, celebrated May 10–16, 2026, is a meaningful time to recognize the vital role of skilled nursing care centers and the people who make them feel like home. This year’s theme, “Moments in Bloom,” reflects the everyday care, connection, and compassion that define skilled nursing communities.

Established by the American Health Care Association in 1967, this annual observance honors residents, caregivers, and care teams across the country. In our centers, it’s the simple, everyday moments, an encouraging word, a helping hand, a shared smile,that grow into something truly meaningful. These “moments in bloom” are made possible by dedicated teams who work each day to create environments where residents are supported with dignity, respect, and compassionate care.

During this week of recognition, we celebrate the essential work happening in skilled nursing care centers everywhere, as well as the relationships that make these communities so special. Thank you to our care teams for your continued dedication, and to our residents and families for trusting us to be part of your journey.
