It's one of the most common questions we hear, and the answer may surprise you.

Many patients who undergo anterior hip replacement are walking with a cane the same day as surgery or by the next day, helping them regain independence sooner. In many cases, patients are able to return home the day of surgery or the following morning.

What can recovery look like?

🚶 Walking with a cane the day of surgery or the next day
🏡 Often returning home within 24 hours
📈 Gradually increasing activity over the following weeks
🏃 Many patients returning to active sports by about 3 months
