World Breastfeeding Week is a good reminder that feeding a newborn is a learning curve for everyone. The first weeks can come with sore breasts, supply worries, cluster feeding marathons, and a lot of second-guessing at 3 a.m. None of that means you are failing. It means you are new at something challenging, and help exists.
Our lactation specialist, Rudra Shah, NP, works with families on latch and positioning, building or balancing supply, pumping and bottle questions, and figuring out what a healthy feeding routine looks like for your baby. Nursing, pumping, formula, or any mix of the three all count. The goal is a fed baby and a supported parent, with zero judgment.
If something feels off or you just want a second set of eyes, do not wait it out alone. Book a lactation appointment today.
