Recently, one of our companions joined her client and his loved ones for a special lunch celebrating his 96th birthday. 🎉

Moments like these remind us that companionship is about more than care—it's about connection, relationships, and making memories together.

Today kicks off CNA Week 2026 — June 11-17! 💛

Every June, CNA Week gives us a chance to recognize the caregivers who make an extraordinary difference in the lives of seniors and the families who love them.

CNAs provide skilled, personalized support when seniors need it most, whether they're recovering from illness, adjusting after a hospital stay, or navigating the changes that come with aging.

This week, we're celebrating the compassion and dedication our CNAs bring to every visit.

Our Nurse Ashley, a Dementia & Alzheimer's Prevention Specialist and Registered Yoga Teacher, is sharing a few simple tips to support brain health and healthy aging:
🧠 Keep your mind active with learning something new.
🚶 Stay physically active with regular movement.
🥗 Fuel your brain with nutritious foods.
😴 Prioritize quality sleep.
👥 Stay socially connected with friends, family, and your community.

Small daily habits can make a big difference over time. This month, let's raise awareness, support those affected by Alzheimer's, and take steps toward a healthier brain.

We were truly honored to attend the St. Francis of Assisi Community Wellness Fair, where we had the opportunity to connect with our community. From health screenings to wellness education and supportive services, the event was a wonderful reminder of the importance of caring for the mind, body, and spirit.

At Golden Harmony Home Care, we remain committed to supporting individuals and families with compassionate, quality care—and it’s events like this that inspire us to keep building stronger, healthier communities together.

"It's like being with part of my family." 💛

When caregiver Rachel visits with Ms. Kay, the time is always full of laughter, playful banter, and heartfelt connection. The two shop, play cards, garden, and more.

One memory they still laugh about is when Rachel accidentally watered all of Ms. Kay's outdoor faux plants on their very first visit. (She's learning a lot about gardening from Ms. Kay!)

When asked what she enjoys most about Rachel’s visits, Ms. Kay says it simply: “She makes me laugh!”
