Growth doesn't happen by pretending you're okay—it happens when you finally feel safe enough to be honest. 💚

Healing from trauma, anxiety, overwhelming emotions, or relationship challenges isn't about "getting over it." It's about understanding the experiences that shaped you, learning new ways to respond, and creating lasting change.

Kada Ridgill, LCSW, provides a compassionate, collaborative space where adolescents and adults can explore life's challenges without judgment. She believes meaningful progress begins with feeling safe, setting clear goals, and working together to uncover the deeper patterns that contribute to distress.

With extensive experience treating complex trauma, developmental trauma, attachment concerns, anxiety, mood disorders, anger, and emotional reactivity, Kada tailors therapy to each client's unique needs using evidence-based approaches including EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Trauma-Focused CBT, DBT, and other specialized trauma therapies.

Whether you're working through past experiences or hoping to build healthier relationships, greater emotional balance, and renewed confidence, you don't have to do it alone.

📍 Kada sees adolescents and adults at our Raleigh office.

What if the most important part of therapy happens before your first appointment?

Not the paperwork.
Not the online forms.
Not an automated scheduling system.

A real conversation.

The connection you build with your therapist matters. That's why, when you call Therapeutic Partners, you'll speak with a therapist first—not a chatbot or a call center.

Because mental health care should begin with feeling heard, not processed.

Helping your child succeed at school often takes more than a single meeting or accommodation—it takes collaboration. 💚

Navigating IEPs, 504 Plans, school meetings, and finding the right support can feel overwhelming, but you don't have to do it alone.

Christina offers Educational Consulting Services designed to help families confidently advocate for their children. Services are tailored to each family's unique needs and may include:
• Attending IEP and 504 meetings
• Reviewing educational plans and accommodations
• Facilitating communication between families and schools
• Researching programs and educational resources
• One-on-one parent and child training about diagnoses and school supports

Christina also developed Mental Illnesses and Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (MIND) Training, an interactive, evidence-based program that helps children and families better understand diagnoses, build practical skills, and gain confidence in using accommodations both in and outside the classroom.

The goal is simple: to help children feel understood, parents feel empowered, and families have the tools they need to reach their goals.

Educational Consulting Services are separate from therapy and are customized on a case-by-case basis to meet each family's needs.

When you're choosing a therapist, credentials matter. The right personality fit matters. Experience matters.

Over the years, seasoned therapists have walked alongside people through thousands of conversations, life transitions, family challenges, relationship struggles, anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, parenting concerns, and so much more. That depth of clinical experience can't be learned from a textbook alone—it comes from years of listening, learning, adapting, and helping people navigate real life.

At Therapeutic Partners, we're proud to have a team of clinicians with decades of combined experience serving children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families throughout the Triangle. Many of our therapists have spent years refining their skills, pursuing advanced training, and helping clients through both everyday challenges and life's most difficult seasons.

Choosing a therapist is a personal decision, and every clinician starts somewhere. But if you're looking for a practice where experience, collaboration, and compassionate care come together, it's worth asking about the depth and breadth of the team supporting your care.

Healing deserves more than convenience—it deserves experience, connection, and a therapist who has helped many others find their way forward.

Therapy doesn't require you to have all the answers—it just asks you to show up. 💛

Taking that first step can feel intimidating.

Maybe you've been telling yourself, "I should be able to handle this on my own." Or perhaps you've been putting everyone else's needs ahead of your own for so long that reaching out feels unfamiliar.

Wherever you are today, Shannon wants you to know this: you don't have to walk through it alone.

Shannon believes therapy works best when it feels like a genuine conversation. Her goal isn't to "fix" you—it's to create a safe, welcoming space where you feel heard, understood, and supported as you work toward the life you want.

Whether you're navigating anxiety, ADHD, depression, relationship challenges, emotional regulation, autism, self-esteem concerns, academic stress, or a major life change, Shannon meets you with compassion, authenticity, and practical strategies tailored to your unique strengths.

She works with adolescents (12+) and adults using a blend of Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy, always recognizing that every person's journey is different.

Sometimes the bravest thing you can do is ask for support.

And sometimes, the right therapist can make all the difference.

✨ Shannon is currently accepting new clients for in-person appointments in Raleigh and Holly Springs, as well as virtual sessions throughout North Carolina.

If you've been waiting for a sign, this is it.
