🌿 Therapy doesn't always have to rely on words.
Sometimes, thoughts and emotions can be difficult to put into sentences. Sandtray therapy offers a creative way to explore experiences, relationships, emotions, and personal stories using sand and miniature figures.

One of the most important things to know is that there is no "right" way to do it. You don't need to be artistic, creative, or know exactly what each figure means. The process is about curiosity, self-expression, and exploring what feels meaningful to you.

Every person's therapeutic journey is unique, and different approaches work for different people. Sandtray therapy is just one of many tools that can help clients process their experiences in a way that feels safe and supportive.

Not everything is within your control.

When life feels overwhelming, it can be helpful to pause and ask yourself: “Is this something I can control?”

You may not be able to control other people's actions, unexpected changes, or every outcome—but you can focus on your boundaries, your choices, your responses, and how you care for yourself along the way.

✨ Releasing what you can't control doesn't mean you don't care. Sometimes, it's an act of protecting your peace and making space for what you can do.

💬 What is one thing within your control that you can focus on today?

🚩 We often hear about "red flags," but what about the green flags?

Mental health isn't about being happy all the time or having everything figured out. Sometimes, it's reflected in the small, everyday choices we make—asking for help, setting healthy boundaries, allowing ourselves to rest, and showing ourselves compassion when things don't go as planned.

Remember, you don't have to check every box on this list. Mental well-being is a journey, and every small step forward is worth celebrating. 🌿

💚 Which mental health green flag have you noticed in yourself lately? Let us know in the comments!

FACT: Therapy isn't just for life's hardest moments. It can also be a space to build coping skills, improve relationships, navigate life transitions, and invest in your overall well-being.

Everyone's reason for starting therapy is different—and every reason is valid.

🌿 Whether you're feeling overwhelmed or simply looking to better understand yourself, therapy can provide a supportive space for growth.

Starting therapy can bring up a mix of emotions—curiosity, hope, uncertainty, or even fear. If you've never been to therapy before, it's completely normal to wonder what your first session will be like.

Your first appointment is about getting to know each other, discussing what brings you to therapy, and creating a plan that feels right for you. Remember, therapy is a collaborative process, and your comfort matters.

🤍 Save this post for later or share it with someone who's thinking about starting therapy.

Social media can make it seem like everyone else is having the “perfect” summer—filled with endless plans, vacations, and constant happiness. But real life isn’t a highlight reel, and neither is healing.

Maybe your summer looks like slowing down, protecting your peace, saying no to things that drain you, or simply making it through difficult days. Maybe it’s quiet, restful, or different from what you expected. That doesn’t make it any less valuable.

💛 There is no right way to spend this season. You don’t have to compare your journey to anyone else’s.

🌿 Give yourself permission to embrace the summer you need—not the one you think you should have.

🌈 Pride Month is a celebration of authenticity, community, and belonging—but it's also a reminder that your mental health matters.

Whether you're experiencing joy, uncertainty, grief, pride, or all of the above, there is room for your full experience. Healing isn't linear, and you don't have to navigate it alone.

Your friends at Riverstone Wellness Collaborative want to remind you that you don't have to earn acceptance, and your feelings and emotions are valid. 💛

Save this post for the days you need a gentle reminder, and share it with someone who might need one too. 🌿✨

Burnout doesn't always look like a complete breakdown. Sometimes it looks like feeling exhausted no matter how much you rest, losing interest in things you once enjoyed, struggling to focus, or constantly feeling overwhelmed by everyday tasks.

When stress becomes your norm, it can be easy to miss the signs that your mind and body are asking for support.

Take a moment to check in with yourself today. What is one small thing you can do to recharge this week? 💛🌿
