🦷❤️ Making a difference in our community goes beyond the dental chair!
We’re proud to highlight Wake Smiles and the incredible work they’re doing to expand access to essential dental care for underserved patients in our community. We’re especially proud that our very own hygienist, Susan Buchenberger, serves on the Wake Smiles Board of Directors and is deeply involved in supporting this important mission! 🙌💙
Wake Smiles recently launched an urgent care clinic open two days a week, including Saturdays, helping patients receive needed dental care without having to turn to the emergency room. Last year alone, the organization helped save more than 100 teeth! 🦷
And there’s more exciting progress ahead! 🎉 A clinic expansion expected to be completed by December will add six operatories to serve even more patients.
At Wake Smiles’ 25th Anniversary Gala on September 24, more than 225 people came together to celebrate its impact and support its future. The event raised $50,000 toward the $100,000 needed for the expansion — bringing the organization halfway to its goal!
💙 Private practice pledges and year-end donations are still needed to help make this expansion possible. With growing needs among underserved patients, this support is more important than ever.
