🚨We bought more time!

After a whirlwind of a week for the h**p industry, there’s finally some breathing room.

Congress has extended the current federal h**p deadline to December 11, giving lawmakers more time to work towards a long term regulatory situation, but it still has to go to the US House for consideration, and eventually to the POTUS.

Make no mistake: more time ≠ the fight is over.

Now is the time to make your voice heard. If you grow h**p, work in the Industry, or believe in sensible regulation, tell your story.

December 11 gives us a deadline. What we do between now and then is up to us! 🍃

🌿 Rumor or fact? 🤔

Not all h**p products are created equal, and that’s exactly why education matters.

From cannabinoid content and terpene profiles to extraction methods and product quality, every h**p product is different. Taking the time to understand what’s in your products can help you make more informed choices and find what best fits your preferences.

As misinformation continues to spread, it’s more important than ever to protect access to responsible, legal h**p products.

🌿 Terped out Tuesday: Meet Myrcene!

Did you know myrcene isn’t unique to h**p? It’s also naturally found in other plants like thyme and bay leaves!

Terpenes are one of the most overlooked parts of the h**p experience. While many people only focus on potency, a strain’s terpene profile also contributes to its unique aroma, flavor, and overall character. Learning about terpenes can help you find products that better match your personal preferences.

One terpene down…. many more to explore. Which one should we cover next? 💚

🚨 Education right now is more important than ever.

With federal proposals and legislation in North Carolina that could reshape the future of legal h**p, it’s critical that we continue replacing misinformation with education and make our voices heard.

📞 If you believe in protecting responsible h**p businesses, local farmers, and consumer access, contact your legislators and encourage them to support thoughtful regulation-not elimination.

Representative Andy Barr has introduced legislation that aims to preserve legal h**p while creating a clearer regulatory framework for the industry.

While this bill is not our saving grace, it gives us a great conversation starter towards true regulation versus prohibition. We are hopeful that Congress will work with industry stakeholders to craft sensible regulations to protect adult consumers and keep children safe while still allowing the industry to flourish.

This bill recognizes what so many of us already know: it’s possible to protect consumers, support responsible businesses, and preserve the livelihood of local farmers, retailers, manufacturers, and the communities they serve.

The h**p industry deserves thoughtful regulation-not elimination.

☎️ Contact your legislators and let them know you support policies that protect legal h**p businesses, local jobs, and consumer access. Your voice can help shape the future of our industry.

Together, we can advocate for a future where education, responsibility, and common-sense regulation come first.

🧠 🌿 Did you know your body has its own Endocannabinoid system (ECS)?

The ECS is a naturally occurring cell-signaling system that helps regulate and maintain balance across many functions throughout the body. While researchers are still learning more about it, understanding the ECS is an important part of understanding why h**p products have become such a popular area of interest.

Education matters and protects the future of h**p.

The more we replace myths with facts, the stronger our community becomes. That’s why we’re committed to sharing educational content that helps you make informed decisions about h**p.

🚨 Education alone is not enough though.

HB 328 could have a major impact on North Carolina’s h**p industry, affecting local businesses, farmers, employees, and access to safe and legal h**p products.

📞 If you believe in protecting responsible, legal h**p, please contact your House Representative and urge them to vote NO on HB 328.

Together, we can support education, responsible regulations, and the future of North Carolina’s h**p industry. 💚
