“Are socks ‘too itchy,’ tags ‘too pokey,’ and jeans ‘too tight’ every single morning causing meltdowns while your child tries to get dressed?”
This may be more than just picky preferences — it is often related to tactile defensiveness and sensory processing differences. For some children, everyday clothing sensations can feel overwhelming to their nervous system, making routines like getting dressed stressful for the entire family.
Occupational therapy can help by:
✨ Implementing a personalized sensory diet before dressing routines
✨ Incorporating calming “heavy work” activities to help regulate the nervous system
✨ Recommending sensory-friendly clothing options like seamless socks, tagless shirts, and softer fabrics
✨ Building tolerance to different textures through play-based sensory experiences
✨ Creating routines and strategies that make mornings smoother and less overwhelming
Small changes can make a big difference in helping children feel more comfortable, regulated, and confident throughout their day 💛

From vision ➡️ reality ✨
Seeing this space come to life has been such a special journey for our team. What was once an empty office is now a place intentionally designed for children to learn, play, regulate, explore, and grow 💛
Inside our new clinic you’ll find:
🤸 A sensory gym built for movement, confidence, and sensory regulation
🧩 A pediatric feeding therapy space to support safe and positive mealtime experiences
✏️ A fine motor sensory room focused on play-based learning and everyday skills
🌙 A cozy decompression room for calming, resetting, and feeling safe
We wanted every room to feel supportive, welcoming, and child-centered — and we are so excited to finally share it with you.
This is more than a new space to us… it’s a place where milestones will be celebrated every single day 🫶
