About the owner

I grew up on the southeastern coast of Thailand. Growing up as the daughter of a farmer and school te

acher, I learned the value of small business ownership and the satisfaction of helping others. As is common in Thai culture, I was steeped in the practice of massage and homeopathic healing techniques. My grandmother and great grandmother taught me massage techniques from an early age, and I practiced on whatever adults were around and wanting healing. Knowing that I would someday want to run my own business, during college I focused on marketing, business, and learning English. I soon met my husband and after 5 years together in Thailand we moved to his home state of North Carolina, started a family, and put my small business skills to work. With the birth of my son, I felt a calling to return to my family roots and pursue massage as a career. We returned to Thailand so that my son could meet his Thai family, and during that time I studied with the famous local Thai Massage teacher. It was from him that I learned to make my own massage oils and cream from natural plants and herbs. We returned to North Carolina and I continued my studies at the American European Massage Therapy School and received my massage certificate. I am nationally certified by the Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) and a member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA), and am licensed by the state of North Carolina to practice therapeutic massage. After receiving my credentials, I returned to Thailand for over three months of advanced study with a private instructor to deepen my practice of authentic and therapeutic Thai massage and some Chinese massage techniques.
