We’re excited to share that beginning Monday, August 10, we’ll once again offer Open Access Mondays for:

🩺 Pregnancy Confirmation Visits
🚩 STD Testing
🚶 Walk-ins Welcome

If you think you may be pregnant, you don’t have to wait for an appointment. Come see us on Mondays for pregnancy testing and confirmation services.

This is one more way we’re working to connect our community with timely, compassionate care.

💜 An empty exam room tells a story.

Yesterday, a former patient shared these words with us:

“I have called six different primary care offices trying to schedule appointments for my children and myself, and either they have no openings for three months or they do not accept Medicaid… I could always call and be seen the same day or the next day.”

Her words are a reminder of why Galatians Community Health exists.

For more than a decade, we’ve been committed to providing compassionate, affordable healthcare to families who need it most. Today, because of funding limitations, our primary care services have been significantly reduced—but the need in our community has only grown.

This exam room is ready to care for patients.

What we’re missing are the resources to keep its doors open more often.

Every volunteer, every donor, every grant, every partnership, and every shared post helps move us one step closer to expanding access to care for the families who depend on it.

Together, we can ensure that more children receive checkups, more parents find a provider who accepts Medicaid, and more families have access to the care they deserve.

For more than a decade, Galatians Community Health has proven that quality healthcare and compassionate resources should never stop because someone cannot afford care.

With a small but dedicated team, we’ve delivered compassionate care, helped bring healthy babies into the world, supported families, created employment opportunities, mentored future healthcare professionals, and invested in people whose careers continue to make a difference in our community.

If you—or your college student—are studying public health, healthcare, administration, or a related field, and are looking to gain meaningful, hands-on experience with a results-driven, mission-focused organization, we would love to connect.

For nearly 10 years, we’ve proudly served our community—expanding access to Primary and Prenatal Care with heart, resilience, and purpose. 💕

We’ve provided prenatal care to patients who have gone on to have safe deliveries for thousands of families, while also playing a role in reducing infant mortality in our community. We are proud to have been a trusted partner in care.

Now, we are transitioning to our Episodic Model of Care as we rebuild, strengthen, and prepare for the next phase of our mission.
