In 2022, Haley lost her daughter, Harper, at just 22 weeks after being diagnosed with HELLP syndrome.

In the months that followed, the Promise Walk for Preeclampsia connected Haley with a community that understood her loss and gave her a meaningful way to honor Harper’s memory. She later helped relaunch the Raleigh walk, while Shared Beginnings helped her and her husband find a new path to parenthood.

Today, Haley and her husband are preparing to welcome their child, and this September, she’ll return to the Promise Walk once again in Harper’s honor.
