We spend so much time checking our schedules, emails, and to-do lists. But how often do we check in with ourselves?

Take a moment today to think about what's been weighing on you. Is it something you can change, something you need help with, or something you need to let go of?

Sometimes recognizing what we're feeling is a good place to start.

Share one word describing how they're feeling today.

Ever replay a conversation in your head long after it's over? Wonder if you said the wrong thing or worry about something that hasn't even happened?

Overthinking can feel productive, but sometimes it keeps us stuck in the same thoughts without finding a solution.

Learning to recognize those patterns can help us approach uncertainty differently.

Read more about why we overthink and how to break the cycle.

Stuck in a thought spiral? It’s not about fixing your thoughts; it’s about feeling your way back to clarity. Here’s how.

On World Mental Health Day, take a moment to really listen when someone tells you how they’re doing.

And if you’re the one having a hard time, your experience deserves to be heard, too.

Your friend shares good news. You’re happy for them—and then you feel that little sting.

That doesn’t make you a bad friend. Sometimes envy gives you a clue about something you want for yourself: more time, more recognition, more freedom, or a change you haven’t quite admitted you’re ready for.

Instead of judging the feeling, try asking, “What is this bringing up for me?”

That question might tell you more than another round of comparing your life to theirs.

October can make it feel like you should have a fresh plan for everything.

But before adding another habit to your list, it may help to ask: What’s working right now? What’s taking more out of me than I realized?

You don’t have to change your whole life this week. Start with one thing you’d like to make a little easier.

Your relationship doesn’t have to be falling apart to deserve a little attention.

Sometimes it’s simply about communicating better, feeling more connected or learning how to handle the everyday stress that can slowly create distance.

At Life Enrichment Resources, we help individuals and couples build healthier patterns and stronger relationships at every stage.

When we don’t have all the facts, our minds fill in the blanks.

Sometimes those assumptions say more about our own fears and past experiences than the situation itself.

Before reacting, ask:

What do I know, and what am I assuming?

We fill uncertainty with a story. That story is rarely true, and it often points back to an old wound.

What if your frustration is trying to tell you something?

Sometimes frustration shows up when there’s something you want to change, pursue or become, but something keeps getting in the way.

Instead of asking, “How do I make this feeling go away?” try asking:

What might my frustration be pointing me toward?

This Psychology Today article offers an interesting perspective on why we sometimes feel stuck without fully understanding why.

If you're frustrated with life, something specific is being blocked. There's something you want that you're not doing. Finding it means finding who you've been protecting.
