A huge thank you to .fire.photography for capturing these incredible photos of our fleet — 425, 424, and Fly Car 419!

Behind every one of these vehicles are 100% volunteer EMTs who give their time to answer the call when our neighbors need us most.

Ramsey Ambulance Corps responds to approximately 1,500 911 calls every year — in Ramsey and surrounding communities. From medical emergencies and accidents to calls where every second matters, our volunteers are there to help.

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and operate independently from the Ramsey Fire Department and Rescue Squad. While we are grateful for the significant support we receive from the Borough of Ramsey, we are not fully funded by the Borough.

That means community donations are essential to keeping our ambulances equipped, maintained, and ready to respond 24/7. Your support helps us continue providing the high-quality emergency medical services our community depends on.

Last night at our monthly business meeting, we were so grateful to receive a $750 donation from Bear’s Cove in Ramsey, NJ! 🙌

Busy Wednesday at Ramsey Ambulance Corps! đźš‘

Our members had a full night of service, training, and teamwork! From our monthly business meeting to multiple 911 calls, our crews were ready.

We also had the opportunity to sharpen our skills with extrication training led by Erik Seay. Thank you to Erik for sharing his knowledge and helping our members stay prepared for the unexpected!

Ramsey Ambulance Corps is focused on serving our community, continuously learning, and working together as a team.

We hope everyone has a great 4th of July tomorrow 🇺🇸Even though tonight's fireworks were canceled, our members still had a great time spending the evening together. From playing games to watching an incredible lightning show and a beautiful rainbow, it turned into a memorable night.

We'd also like to thank our neighboring agencies- Franklin Lakes Volunteer Ambulance, Ho-Ho-Kus Ambulance Corps, Waldwick Ambulance Corps, Allendale Ambulance Corps, and Wyckoff Ambulance Corps—for supporting our town’s firework event. The Ramsey Ambulance Corps regretfully announces the passing of Life Member Bruce Greenwood, father of Chief Marc Greenwood.

Bruce dedicated decades of service to the Ramsey community. He first joined the Ramsey Fire Department in 1983 and later became a member of the Ramsey Ambulance Corps in 1987. Throughout his years of service, he held numerous leadership roles, including driver, EMT, firefighter, fire officer, RAC Head Trustee, Ramsey Emergency Management Deputy Coordinator and senior citizen bus driver. Most residents will remember him from the days where he owned and operated the Amoco station at Main Street and North Spruce.

Bruce’s commitment, leadership, and unwavering dedication to serving others left a lasting impact on our organization and the community he cared for so deeply. We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of serving alongside him.
