🚗♿ Adaptive Car Show Community Recap!

What a great day at the Sutter Rehabilitation Institute Hot August Nights Adapted Car Show! 🔥🚗

Sutter Rehabilitation Institute and TheLionheart.Community did an incredible job bringing the community together for a day filled with local resources, informational booths, adaptive equipment, demonstrations, and classic cars.

McIlwain Mobility Solutions was proud to be there showcasing some of our adaptive bikes and off-road mobility equipment, giving attendees an opportunity to see how mobility solutions can help people stay active, independent, and connected to the outdoors.

Visitors also had the opportunity to explore an adaptive van with a lowered floor and manual/powered ramp, as well as see a live demonstration of The LINK, which optimizes legroom and headroom while lowering the original vehicle seat for easy, level transfers.

We love being part of events like this where people can see, touch, ask questions, and experience adaptive solutions firsthand! 💙

The journey into adapted cycling began in 1986, when a three-wheeled bike was designed to help someone cycle again after losing their balance.

As demand grew, we specialised in bikes designed for comfort, stability and confidence. By the 1990s, vanRaam had become the family-led business we still are today.
