Despite the fog, this morning we walked to a local breakfast place for some great food! We decided to check out “Kathy’s Trackside Cafe” and had a great time trying something new just around the block! Later this afternoon we did some baking during kitchen club and made some Oreo brownies!

Fall Rides and Frappes! 🍂☕️
Today we went for a scenic fall color ride to see the last bit of color left on the beautiful trees throughout the Kettle Moraine and around Parnell Tower. To break up the drive we stopped at Spoonlickers for coffee! On our way back, we even saw some white horses. It was a great afternoon for a fall drive!

Wednesday was National M&M day! We celebrated by baking M&M bars in Kitchen Club and playing a dice game. Kathy S won a box of M&Ms because she was the first to cover all her numbers! Residents also got to check out a cool M&M slot machine and, of course, have some candy!

Yesterday we went to the pumpkin farm so today we carved + painted the pumpkins we brought back! Everyone worked together to dig out the seeds, paint, decorate and design the pumpkins! Also, this morning, we enjoyed music by Bob Welsch and had a great time singing along to popular songs.

We had such a fun little trip to Spieker’s pumpkin farm this afternoon! 🎃🦃🍂
