Grisell Memorial Hospital is proud to announce the recipients of the 2026 Grisell Memorial Hospital District #1 Healthcare Scholarship. Each student has been awarded a $1,000 scholarship in recognition of their hard work, academic achievement, and dedication to pursuing a career in healthcare.

The Healthcare Scholarship Program was established to support graduating high school seniors who reside within Hospital District #1 in Ness County and who plan to pursue education in a healthcare related field. The program reflects Grisell Memorial Hospital's commitment to strengthening the future healthcare workforce serving rural communities and supporting local students who aspire to careers in healthcare.

This year’s scholarship recipients are Rebecca Strickler, Maya Counts and Madelyn Kraus.

Grisell Memorial Hospital remains committed to investing in the future of healthcare and supporting educational opportunities for local students. Congratulations to all the recipients on this outstanding accomplishment and best wishes as they continue their educational journey.
